Icebreaker: Connect Faces & Ideas
Kick off your conference experience in a fun, relaxed setting. Connect with fellow ECRs in small groups before embarking on a virtual poster tour on Gather Town.
Networking Sessions
Connect with peers and experienced researchers in small breakout groups, based on the popular "lunch with established scientists" model from in-person IGAC conferences.
Skills Workshops
Enhance your expertise with workshops hosted by field leaders, designed to equip you with valuable new skills.
Topics and hosts to be announced!
Poster Sessions & Prizes
Present your research in one of our two 2-hour joint poster sessions and compete for one of six incredible poster prizes!
๐
Win a Trip to IGAC 2026!
Six poster prizes will be awarded, covering travel, registration, and accommodation for the next in-person IGAC conference ECR short course in Heraklion, Greece.
Explore Poster Topics
Air Quality and Health
Studies on urban air pollution, particulate matter, and gaseous pollutants, including emerging contaminants such as microplastics, POPs, VCPs, and nanomaterials, their sources, transformations, and impacts on human health. Includes research on indoor and outdoor air quality.
Atmospheric Processes and Chemistry
Fundamental research on chemical reactions in the atmosphere, including gas-phase and heterogeneous chemistry, and the study of reactive trace gases.
Atmospheric Aerosols Sources, Processes, and Impacts
Focuses on the diverse nature of atmospheric aerosols and other emerging particulate contaminants, including their sources (natural and anthropogenic), the chemical and physical processes they undergo, and their impacts on climate, health, and ecosystems.
Advances in Atmospheric Observations and Modeling
Development and application of observational techniques (e.g., satellite, ground-based, aircraft) and/or atmospheric models for studying atmospheric composition and processes. Includes research on data analysis, interpretation, and recent campaign studies.
Biogeochemical Cycles and Atmospheric Exchange
Addresses the exchange of chemical species between the atmosphere and other Earth system components, such as the biosphere, oceans, and soils. Encompasses studies on the sources and sinks of atmospheric trace gases and aerosols.
Climate Change and Atmospheric Composition Interactions
Focuses on the interactions between atmospheric chemistry and climate change, including studies on greenhouse gases, aerosols, cloud formation, and their radiative effects.
Bridging the Gap
Directly addresses the crucial link between scientific research and its real-world applications, emphasizing how atmospheric chemistry data inform policy decisions, regulations, and societal actions.
